On each invoice, an amount of CHF 5 will be added for the Trust and Support Fee for bookings where a Mila Friend is engaged. Trust and Support Fee covers the support costs of Mila Customer Service Team in the event of uncertainties regarding an order or in the event of disputes between the customer and Mila Friend. In addition, AXA's insurance package protects our customers against damage to their property during an installation or repair up to CHF 2,000 (deductible CHF 100). As an intermediation platform, Mila offers a marketplace for Mila Friends and customers, enabling them to contact each other and enter into contracts for technical services. Mila arranges independent Mila Friends, which usually have their own business liability insurance.
In the event of damage should a friend not have their own liability insurance, Mila has taken out a precautionary installation insurance policy. This also covers Mila's customers for damage within the scope of the service (installation) booked through Mila. The policy covers damages of up to CHF 2,000 with a deductible of CHF 100.
The installation protection insurance taken out by Mila is an additional service designed to offer our customers the highest level of security.
In the event of damage during installation or assembly, please contact us within 24 hours by e-mail at [email protected]. Fill out this form and document the damage with photos. Mila Customer Service will review the application and forward the claim to Axa. A representative from AXA Insurance will then inform you about the next steps.
Repair and/or cleaning costs for damaged insured items will be covered, up to a maximum of CHF 2,000 per claim. If the repair costs are higher than the replacement value of a similar item at the time of the claim, the replacement value will be reimbursed up to a maximum value of CHF 2,000 per claim, including any cleaning costs.
