Mila is a digital on-demand tech support platform, founded in Switzerland end of 2015, Mila’s network of over 10,000 techies, has been helping people in the UK, France, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland get the most out of their personal technology by advising on, installing, and repairing their tech devices. We’re on a mission to build the most trustworthy, reliable, and convenient network of tech support in the world that will solve your tech challenges fast. We’re completing this mission by having trustful cooperation with well-known partners such as Amazon, Otto.de, Bosch, AXA, Sonos, Swisscom, and many more. These companies benefit from Mila by building up a service network around their own products and services. 


What you will do

  • As part of the executive team, you will lead Mila’s global operation and be responsible for Mila’s customer service and quality management. 

  • You will lead the acquisition, onboarding, and qualification of new Mila technicians, get them trained in our Mila Academy, and drive their engagement.

  • With your team, you will constantly work to deliver the best customer experience with our growing 10K+ Mila technicians and ensure the Mila experience is great worldwide.

  • You will define and implement initiatives that promote and sustain technician engagement with Mila.

  • You will expand the Mila Academy and promote the development of required skills in the various markets. In doing so, the Academy will be evolved as an additional revenue stream. 

  • You are constantly designing and adapting processes and organization to the international scale of Mila and ensure that costs are optimized as well as the experience for customers and technicians is constantly improved.

  • You will collaborate with the CTO and product team to ensure that customer inquiries and requests from our technicians are optimized and prevented or automated where possible.

  • You and your team are driven to make our Mila service experience magical, for our service requester and technicians.

  • You will work closely with the Founder and Mila Board to ensure Mila’s global expansion.


Who you are

  • Experienced in building new business in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and dynamic scale-up environment

  • Able to build, and lead a global team and get into the details where needed to solve problems

  • Experienced in building global processes and organizations according to the strategy

What you will need

  • Minimum BA/BS degree in economics, finance, etc. or equivalent practical experience

  • 4 years of experience as a launcher and scale specialist in a fast-growing marketplace scale-up

  • Experience in leading teams in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in setting up relevant KPIs and leading by them

  • Excellent analytics and communication skills

  • Fluent in English and German, any additional language is an advantage

  • Strong work ethic

Your Profile

Join Mila as a Senior Full-Stack Engineer and work as a part of an agile, cross-functional product team taking ownership of our product from end to end. We are looking for an experienced developer that gets stuff done and has a growth mindset. 


Responsibilities 

Our product:

  • Build great new features

  • Continuously improve our existing product

DevOps:

  • Be responsible for tooling to release small iterations quickly (CI / CD, testing)

  • Monitor and maintain what you have built

As a Senior Engineer:

  • Be a mentor for Junior Engineers

  • Take ownership of larger projects


Requirements

  • 3+ years experience with Javascript

  • Experience with React & Typescript

  • Experience with Postgres or similar

  • Fluent in English

  • Based in Zurich or willing to relocate (this is an on-site role)

  • Swiss or EU passport/permit

Your Profil 

Join Mila as a Product Owner and work as a part of an agile, cross-functional product team taking ownership of our product from end to end. Be in charge of our product backlog and be in the central point of coordinating between UX Designers and Engineers and internal and external stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Figure out and clarify business needs with internal stakeholders

  • Plan product integrations with existing and new enterprise partners

  • Together with UX Designers research and determine the needs of our customers

  • Together with UX Designers and Engineers figure out the MVP of new features and how to iterate afterwards

  • Be in charge of and prioritize our product backlog and roadmap in a fast-paced environment


Requirements

  • Experience being the Product Owner of a customer-facing web application

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders

  • Technical enough to be able to break down stories with engineers

  • Ability to see things from the point of view from our customers as well as the business side

  • Experience with agile development practices like Scrum and Kanban

  • Being self-driven, taking ownership and having strong organizational skills

  • Fluent in English

  • Based in Zurich or willing to relocate (this is an on-site role)
