There are several ways. The easiest way using your keyboard/mouse is as follows: first open the Finder. Go to the Mac "HD folder" which is in the left column by the tools. Then press the “Command” key plus the “Shift” key and the “Period” key. Then all hidden files will be visible. You can hide the files again using the same key combination.
If the Mac and the printer are already registered in the same WLAN, the printer may be visible and available without further configuration. You can check it by selecting "File" > "Print" and clicking on the "Printer" menu. Then select “Nearby printers” or click “Printers & scanners” in system settings and choose the printer. If the printer is not yet displayed in the menu, you can add it here.
Have the data from your email account available like the address and password as well as the port and addresses of the SMTP and POP servers, if necessary. If you haven't yet set up an email account on your Mac, the email program prompts you to add one. If it concerns another address, select "Email" > "Add account" from the "Email" menu bar. A wizard gets started and asks for the necessary information which you then enter and save.
Open the "System preferences" of your Mac in the dock. Look for the "Users and groups" item and click on it. Next, you have to click on the little lock in the bottom left of the user window. Type in the administrator password and click on "Unprotect". Then click on the small "+" sign at the bottom left of the window using your mouse. Enter the user data for your new user in the form that appears. Once you've entered "User name" and "Password", click on "Create user". Now you can see the new user in the user list.
