We are looking for a Sales Development Representative responsible for our technician network in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. This role is based in Berlin.

Mila is a digital on-demand tech support platform, founded in Switzerland end of 2015, Mila's network of over 10,000 techies, has been helping people in the UK, France, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland get the most out of their personal technology by advising on, installing, and repairing their tech devices. We're on a mission to build the most trustworthy, reliable, and convenient network of tech support in the world that will solve your tech challenges fast. We’re completing this mission by having trustful cooperation with well-known partners such as Amazon, Otto.de, Bosch, AXA, Sonos, Swisscom, and many more. These companies benefit from Mila by building up a service network around their own products and services. 


What you will do

As part of the operation department, you are responsible for:

  • To define a sales strategy to find new technician companies for the DACH market

  • Evaluating suitable channels (digital & non-digital) to achieve the acquisition growth targets

  • Selling Mila Service portfolio to technicians and building up the Mila technician network on mila.com

  • To analyse (analytics) and provide the required number of technicians in each region and build the required capabilities

  • Acquisition, Onboarding, Qualification, Activation of the technician 

  • Keeping constant dialogue with our technicians with regular news and product updates, understand their requirements and to keep them engaged

  • Making sure our customer satisfaction stays on top (Net Promoter Score, 5-star rating)

  • Besides this, you will work closely with the Founder, Operation, Marketing, and Product Teams


Who you are

  • You are an ambitioned sales and marketing person, who wants to write the next chapter in a fast-growing scale-up

  • You are experienced in working in German market, experienced in Austrian and Swiss market would be an advantage

  • You have excellent relationship building skills an “I know how to sell” attitude 

  • You have an analytical mindset and your actions are KPI based

  • You have an outgoing personality and enjoy connecting with people 

  • You are not above picking up the phone and calling potential technicians

  • Hands-on mentality paired with a "get things done" mindset 

  • You think out of the box on how to improve things and finding new ways to results

  • Passion and drive in order to help meeting KPI's and sales targets


What you will need

  • Minimum BA/BS degree in economics, marketing, statistics, finance, or equivalent practical experience 

  • 2 years of experience in sales, online marketing, business analytics or in a community management position 

  • Excellent analytics, communication and networking skills 

  • Strong communication skills in German (native) and English, any additional language is a big advantage 

  • Demonstrated leadership of leading initiatives and projects at your organization

  • Strong work ethic 


Bonus points

  • Excellent excel skills and SQL knowledge

  • Mediate orders within our service partner network

  • Process complaints and implement suitable solutions

Responsibilities 

Our product:

DevOps:

  • Be responsible for tooling to release small iterations quickly (CI / CD, testing)

  • Monitor and maintain what you have built

As a Senior Engineer:

  • Be a mentor for Junior Engineers

  • Take ownership of larger projects


Requirements

  • 3+ years experience with Javascript

  • Experience with React & Typescript

  • Experience with Postgres or similar

Join Mila as a Product Owner and work as a part of an agile, cross-functional product team taking ownership of our product from end to end. Be in charge of our product backlog and be in the central point of coordinating between UX Designers and Engineers and internal and external stakeholders.


Responsibilities

  • Figure out and clarify business needs with internal stakeholders

  • Plan product integrations with existing and new enterprise partners

  • Together with UX Designers research and determine the needs of our customers

  • Together with UX Designers and Engineers figure out the MVP of new features and how to iterate afterwards

  • Be in charge of and prioritize our product backlog and roadmap in a fast-paced environment


Requirements

  • Experience being the Product Owner of a customer-facing web application

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders

  • Technical enough to be able to break down stories with engineers

  • Ability to see things from the point of view from our customers as well as the business side

  • Experience with agile development practices like Scrum and Kanban

  • Being self-driven, taking ownership and having strong organizational skills

  • Fluent in English

  • Based in Zurich or willing to relocate (this is an on-site role)
